MSNBC political analyst Nicole Wallace claimed on Friday that President Donald Trump’s appointment of Anthony Scaramucci is more about wanting better-looking men on the White House Communications Team than anything else.

Friday saw former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer’s resignation, which was alleged to be due to taking issue with Trump’s pick for communications director, Scaramucci.

Shortly after Scaramucci accepted Trump’s offer, Spicer resigned.

The New York Times reported that Trump offered the job of White House communications director to New York financier Anthony Scaramucci, a vehement supporter of the president who often defends Trump on cable news. Trump reportedly requested that Spicer remain on White House staff, but Spicer evidently held onto his alleged belief that Scaramucci was the wrong appointee for the commnications director position.

Wallace, who previously served as former President George W. Bush’s own communications chief, called into MSNBC and blasted the president over the notion that he wanted “better-looking men” to face the media.

“This is about someone who took some skin out of one of Donald Trump’s archenemies and that’s the cable news network CNN,” Wallace said about Scaramucci. “So, I wish this were a story about a really important job inside the White House, a post that speaks for the country and the president around the world, but this is about Donald Trump wanting better looking men spreading his message.”

Spicer was replaced by Sarah Huckabee Sanders as White House Press Secretary.

As is the case with most epic brawls, after the first punch is thrown, the violence doesn’t stop until one side is victorious.
Unfortunately for these feuding foxes, their bark is worse than their bite. With tourists watching from the sidelines of the Miyagi Zoo Fox Village in Japan, these two frustrated red foxes took to violence to settle their dispute. After only a few seconds of wrestling, the pair decided to turn their physical fight into a screaming match.

During Thursday night’s airing of “Special Report With Bret Baier,” Charles Krauthammer predicted that it would be only a matter of time before Attorney General Jeff Sessions leaves — or is ousted from — his post as AG.

Explaining that President Donald Trump “undercut” Sessions with harsh criticisms in Trump’s latest New York Times interview, where Trump said had he known that Sessions would recuse himself from the Russian investigation, he would have never appointed Sessions to the Attorney General post.

In the wide-ranging Times interview, about Sessions, Trump said, “Sessions should have never recused himself, and if he was going to recuse himself, he should have told me before he took the job and I would have picked somebody else.”

Krauthammer, on Thursday night, said, “There’s a reason that … leaders of any kind don’t do that.”

Further, the political commentator and analyst added that Sessions’ reputation has likely been damaged as a result of Trump’s criticisms, because anytime Sessions is brought up in the future, he’ll likely be linked with having “been attacked by his own president.”

“He’s obviously lost the confidence of the president,” Krauthammer said. “That sort of limits his tenure.”

See Krauthammer’s full remarks in the video below.

I don’t know about you, but I hate haunted houses.

In the field of plastic surgery, lip fillers seem pretty tame in comparison to the increasingly bizarre procedures people go through for the sake of beauty.
For many, getting poked in the lips with a needle is definitely worth it to get that sought-after plump pout. The reason why people were so upset? Well, not only was Rodriguez recording the video on her phone as she was driving, but she and her friend were also smoking a substance many believe was marijuana. Long-time comedian and television host David Letterman took shots at President Donald Trump in a recent interview with The Associated Press, calling the president a “goon” who needs to be put in a nursing home.

“I know there’s trouble in this country and we need a guy who can fix that trouble. I wish it was Trump, but it’s not, so let’s just stop whining about what a goon he is and figure out a way to take him aside and put him in a home,” Letterman said during the interview, on a press tour for his new Funny or Die show with Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.).

The show, “Boiling the Frog With Senator Al Franken,” made its debut on Monday and will air weekly episodes. Franken’s goal is to “fight back” against science-based world issues like “climate change.”

When asked whether or not he wanted to be a part of late-night television in the current political climate, Letterman said, “Here’s what I keep saying: We know there’s something wrong, but what I’m tired of is people ― daily, nightly, on all the cable news shows ― telling us there’s something wrong.”

“I just think we ought to direct our resources and our energies to doing something about it,” he added. “And other people have made this point: If the guy was running Dairy Queen, he’d be gone. This guy couldn’t work at The Gap. So why do we have to be victimized by his fecklessness, his ignorance? But it’s just the behavior is insulting to Americans, whether you voted for him or not ― and I feel bad for people who did vote for him because he promised them things that they really needed and one wonders if he’s really going to come through.”

About the project, Franken told the AP:

“Since taking office, President Trump has decided to disregard science in order to repeatedly put the short-sighted interests of his friends in the fossil fuel industry ahead of the safety of our planet,” he said.

“We hope to bring some much needed attention to this critical issue and ultimately, to help encourage people in Minnesota, Dave’s home state of Indiana, and all Americans to make their voices heard and join the fight to combat climate change,” Franken concluded.

Sibahle Nkumbi was reportedly shoved down a flight of stairs, out of her Airbnb rental in Amsterdam, by the building’s landlord after she checked out after the designated time.

Amsterdam newspapers reported that the suspect was arrested and held by local law enforcement, and according to a report, prosecutors are considering an attempt to charge the suspect with attempted murder.

In the 30-second video, it sounds like Nkumbi tells the landlord “don’t be emotional,” and begs the question of why he’s throwing her belongings out of her rental.

The host repeatedly says “Out!” and appears to push Nkumbi against the wall. He continues shoving her toward the stairs, and as a result, Nkumbi is thrown violently down a steep set of steps in the stairwell, headfirst.

Before the video ends, Nkumbi can be seen lying on the floor, motionless.

In an interview, Nkumbi claimed that the landlord was “verbally abusive,” and claimed that she only awoke after being hospitalized with a concussion and contusions all over her body and face.

Airbnb’s Director of Diversity, David King, released the following statement about the purported incident:

Appalling and unconscionable behavior against members of our community runs counter to everything Airbnb stands for. Our CEO Brian Chesky and I are reaching out to the affected guests. We will take the strongest actions we can against such abhorrent conduct, including banning people for life from our platform and assisting law enforcement with their investigation and potential prosecution. Nobody should ever be treated like this and it will not be tolerated.

In an interview with the UK’s Sunday Times, Nkumbi said:

“[The host] even said that we are not the great artists or queens that we think we are and that we must leave now‚ this is not Africa. Any person of color who has been a witness of racist attacks will make the connection of the words and will know it when it happens to you.”

She later added, “I guarantee you‚ had this been a white person‚ it would have been differently.”

Appearing on MSNBC, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA.) blasted President Trump on Friday night after his meeting at the G20 summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“We’re getting played by our president and certainly we’re getting played by Putin,” Waters said during the interview. “I don’t like the idea that our president again would go into a room without any note-takers, without any staff, without others who should be in the room who really understand foreign policy … and come out of it saying how honored he is to meet with [Putin] and how, in fact, they’re going to start working together.”

She continued, “This is all about lifting those sanctions.”

The president met with Putin on Friday for a meeting that was scheduled to last 30 minutes, but according to reports, went more than an hour and a half over schedule.

Besides Trump, those in the room included U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Putin, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and translators.

At the meeting’s conclusion, both U.S. and Russian officials shared stories of what went on behind the closed doors.

Tillerson claimed that Trump continually pressed Putin about alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election, though Putin vehemently denied any involvement whatsoever.

Lavrov, however, claimed that once Putin told Trump that there was no Russian interference, Trump simply “accepted” Putin’s denial and moved on.

“U.S. President Trump said that he heard firm assertions from Russian President Putin that it is not true and that Russian authorities have not meddled in the elections. [Trump] said that he accepts these assertions,” Lavrov said. “That’s it.”

The news team at Buffalo, New York’s WGRZ — a local television station — lost it after a male news anchor who was discussing a segment on rechargeable lightbulbs seemed to make a joke about masturbation on live television.

During the segue between the lightbulb segment to the local weather, anchor John Beard spoke to the network’s meteorologist, Maria Genero, referencing the lightbulbs, but with a heap of innuendo.

“Speaking of do-it-yourself, that’s your kind of thing, Maria,” Beard told Genero. “You love doing it yourself,” he added.

Genero, clearly taken aback, began to laugh and launched into her forecast before pausing and making her own joke back to Beard.

“Sometimes, yeah,” she laughed.

The two — including off-camera staff — began cracking up immediately, and Genero could hardly maintain her composure.

When the cameras turned back to Beard, he could be seen laughing silently, but hilariously, into his coffee cup, attempting to hide his hysteria.

Aside from the laughter of the anchors, there was dead silence on the set — the weather forecast had been all but forgotten.

Turning to the cameras on the set, she said, “Good morning, we’re back to reality,” before falling into another fit of laughter.

“This is what I have to work with, see? I’m here doing the weather and I can see what’s going on in the background,” Genero explained. “It’s always some kind of shenanigans.”

Senator Chris Coons (D-DE) says that he believes an attack by North Korea on U.S. soil could be imminent, and much sooner than some may expect.

Appearing on the Friday airing of CNN’s “The Lead With Jake Tapper,” Coons warned that North Korea could have the capability to launch an effective and devastating attack as early as 2019.

Speaking to CNN anchor Pamela Brown — who was sitting in for the show’s namesake, Jake Tapper — Coons said, “We may be facing a North Korean nuclear-armed country that has an ICBM capable of hitting the United States within two years. We don’t have a lot of time.”

Adding that his opinion on a timeframe was a “rough guess,” Coons explained, “In open source reporting, that’s been talked about as the time it likely will take them. I think this latest missile test took a number of us by surprise in being more successful than expected.”

Coons then turned his sights to President Donald Trump in a plea to arm the U.S. with allies in order to neutralize the threat.

“This is not the time for President Trump to be undermining NATO or the EU or the G20 or our partnerships with the rest of the world,” he added.

“I think we’re in a race against time,” Coons said about a possible North Korean attack on the United States earlier in the segment. “And frankly, a race that we may well lose.”

While considering the continually deteriorating conditions in North Korea, Fox Business host Trish Regan suggested the possibility of assassinating Kim Jong-Un as a solution to solving the ever-escalating conflict between the U.S. and North Korea.

During an appearance on Fox’s “Outnumbered,” Regan expressed her wishes that the United States wouldn’t have to engage in military warfare with North Korea in order to quash the tensions between the two countries and their allies.

“There’s one other option here that we haven’t talked about,” Regan reluctantly began. “I know you’re not supposed to go out … and take out a leader because of international rules, decorum, et cetera, that we have. But if there is a way to get in and get rid of this crazy fat kid … then wouldn’t that do a lot in terms of saving a lot of lives here?”

As TheBlaze reported earlier on Thursday, the deteriorating situation between the United States and North Korea is reaching a boiling point, with White House officials going so far as to devise contingency military plans for use against the communist state.

The U.S. military presence is growing on the Korean peninsula, and appears ready and willing to go to war at any moment.

Liberals were convinced that President Donald Trump is unfit to serve as president when a video of Trump exiting Air Force One at Joint Base Andrews airfield emerged on Monday.

In the video, the president can be seen walking off the plane and past his waiting limousine.

The video hit viral status by Wednesday, and, at the time of this posting, is trending on YouTube in the #34 spot.

Leading the pack in its “progressive” criticism was Keith Olbermann, who tweeted, “Trump wandering from limo; his ‘wrestling’ tweet – Why do we hesitate to call him mentally incompetent?”

During the Thursday airing of MSNBC’s “Hardball,” host Chris Matthews compared President Donald Trump and his family to both Saddam Hussein and his family, as well as Saddam Hussein and his sons, and Benito Mussolini and his familial tribe.

“According to The American Conservative magazine, Secretary Tillerson believes he’s been contradicted and undermined by the White House,” Matthews began. “A close associate of Secretary Tillerson explained: ‘Rex is just exhausted. He can’t get any of his appointments approved and is running around the world cleaning up after a president whose primary foreign policy adviser is a 36-year-old amateur.’”

The 36-year-old “amateur” to which Matthews was referring was Trump’s son-in-law — and husband of daughter Ivanka Trump — Jared Kushner.

Unabashed, Matthews continued and added, “I’m allowed to have opinions and one of my opinions is that nepotism is a bad thing in government. It just is. You put Uday and Qusay [Hussein] in your government and you’re going to have a problem with everybody else in the government because nobody can fight with them.”

“Nobody can challenge them and, in the end, the son-in-law is always right because he can always to go his father-in-law or his wife and say they were mean to me,” he continued.

Calling government nepotism “a disastrous decision,” Matthews added, “We find Kushner in the Middle East, brokering the Middle East peace process, whatever it is, among the Arabs and Israelis and Likud and everybody else and meanwhile, Tillerson is sitting around doing what? He can’t even appoint his own deputies. The power seems to have gone to the son-in-law.”

Continuing to muse aloud on the Trump family, Matthews, to fellow panelists Ashley Parker and Frank Bruni, said, “This is the Romanovs. Just a thought. The Romanovs. Is it?”

He then asked the two if the Trumps were a “royal family” instead of a “Democratic or … Republican form of government.”

“Is it a family running the government?” Matthews asked. “Is it Ivanka and Jared and the President sitting around in the White House upstairs ruling the world?”

MSNBC senior analyst Parker responded, “I don’t think it’s quite that but I think it is run like a family business. The president and his aides see it publicly and privately and the President’s family, his children, especially his daughter Ivanka and, you know, Jared Kushner, they operate with a degree of impunity that does not exist for these other aides. So, if you look at just Jared and Tillerson, Jared basically emerged as a shadow Secretary of State.”

“You mentioned peace in the Middle East,” she continued. “His portfolio includes not only that, it includes China, it includes Mexico, it includes Canada and that’s just on the foreign policy front. So, if you’re the secretary of state, ambassadors and leaders of foreign nations know that they can directly go to the President’s son-in-law and have his ear that deeply undermines you and makes it really difficult for you to do your job.”

Bringing the conversation back to infamous families once more, Matthews added, “And then you find out in all these investigations that Jared was opening up a tunnel to Moscow so he wouldn’t have to deal with the State Department. So the son-in-law — you know, one good thing Mussolini did was execute his son-in-law. I mean, I’m talking about Ciano,” he said, referring to Mussolini’s son-in-law.

Journalist Bruni then interrupted Matthews and said, “Let’s be careful here, yeah.”

“That was an extreme measure,” Matthews said as he walked back his earlier statement. “But this was — this is a strange situation.”

Ann Coulter on Friday appeared on Fox Business Network where she told Stuart Varney that she thought President Donald Trump’s tweets slamming Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough were “fantastic.”

“I’ve got to bring up the question of the tweets,” Varney said. “My contention is that the president’s tweets yesterday about Mika Brzezinski — they essentially hijacked his agenda and distracted from the growth agenda, which is the most important thing for this country. Your response?”

Coulter, smiling coyly, answered, “I’ve heard that argument. I love the tweets. And yesterday’s tweet was fantastic. Even my friends who disagree with me on whether the president should tweet were all calling yesterday, saying, ‘OK, you’re right, after the Mika tweet he’s gotta keep tweeting.’

“It was fantastic,” she reiterated.

When asked by Varney why Coulter thought Trump’s tirade against Brzezinski was “fantastic,” Coulter answered that she found it “hilarious”

“It’s been a one-sided war … the idea of this aggression, the war between the president and the media, it’s fantastic!”

Coulter continued, laughing and pointing out how “fantastic” Trump’s tweets were, but Varney became increasingly incredulous as the seconds ticked by.

Interrupting Coulter, Varney exclaimed, “Wait a minute!”

“Yesterday,” he continued, after Coulter stopped talking, “the president gave a speech on energy dominance. We passed two immigration bills, Kate’s Law was passed, and there were several other things that happened and none of it was mentioned … because of the tweets.”

The two began to shout at one another, over one another, until Coulter finally caved and allowed Varney to continue.

“All of those congressmen have to go home to their constituents this weekend … and they’re gonna get an earful from people who thought those tweets were dreadful,” he continued.

Coulter insisted on interrupting, repeatedly saying, “No, they won’t,” and “They were fantastic.”

“I loved those tweets,” Coulter gushed. “It was fantastic.”

Varney shook his head and told Coulter he didn’t understand how she could say that.

When asked by Varney if the Trump’s tweets will enhance the president’s agenda on health care and tax reform, Coulter answered, “Yes, it makes the media look even sillier than the Russia conspiracy theory. Do you think they’re talking about any of the president’s agenda on CNN or MSNBC? Because you’re not watching if you think they are.”

She added, “I can’t even watch MSNBC and CNN anymore, I’d rather have them talk about some dumb facelifts than have them talk about this nonsense with the Russian conspiracy theory.”

Keith Boykin, CNN political commentator, went nuts on former spokesperson for the George W. Bush administration, Pete Seat, over President Donald Trump’s tweets about “Morning Joe” anchor Mika Brzezinski’s “bleeding face.”

About the president’s tweets, Seat said, “President Donald Trump is a fighter. We knew this during the campaign; when he feels under attack, he comes out and fights back. This is partly what the American people wanted him to do. They knew this going in, that he is a fighter and you see this all the time. People are questioning his mental fitness for the job on networks all across the spectrum. People are saying that he should be physically harmed. These so-called celebrities making comments like that all the time. The guy is under a lot of pressure and he’s fighting back.”

During Seat’s remarks, Boykin can be seen in the video making an array of what appear to be shocked, disgusted, and incredulous faces.

“Most people watching this in the heartland just don’t care,” Seat added.

Boykin couldn’t hold his comments any longer and broke in during the middle of Seat’s comments and said, “Pete, Pete, Pete, Pete, this is ridiculous! This is absolutely absurd you are not condemning this petty, vindictive, sexist attack from the President of the United States against a female journalist.”

“How much longer will Republicans allow Donald Trump’s childish behavior, his petty vindictiveness to consume this country’s politics?” Boykin asked. “This has to end. And the only way it ends is if people like you, who call yourselves respectable Republicans have the courage to stand up and say something about it.”

Trump on Thursday eviscerated “Morning Joe” co-host Brzezinski over an alleged facelift.

Trump wrote, “I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don’t watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year’s Eve, and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!”

During the panel discussion, Boykin later set his sights on First Lady Melania Trump.

“Melania Trump said she was going to fight against cyberbullying,” he said. “Well, Donald Trump is the chief cyberbully in our country and she needs to stand up to her husband today and look him in the face and say, cut it out.”

He continued his rant and said, “This is shameful, it’s disgraceful, he’s making a mockery of our country and the presidency and the White House.”

CNN panel moderator Kate Bolduan asked Seat for a response to Boykin’s comments, and in response, Seat asked Boykin when Democrats would own up to the notion that Democratic policies are precisely what put Donald Trump in office.

Boykin began ranting in an erratic manner against Seat, and Bolduan had to butt in to break up the fracas.

“Let me jump in, let me jump in, let me jump in,” Bolduan cried. “Keith, I know you can hear me, stop talking.”

Bolduan complained that there’s no room to talk policies currently when the president is paying more attention to Brzezinski’s face and his feud with the mainstream media than he is to policies.

“This president is tweeting about it!” Boykin yelled at Seat, referring to Trump’s comments about Brzezinski’s face. “We’re not supposed to focus on what the president is talking about? The president is tweeting about it!”

Seemingly close to tears, Boykin continued, “How can you say the media is focusing on it when the President of the United States is talking about this, this morning?!”

“He’s not talking about health care, he not talking sanctuary cities, he’s not talking about immigration, he’s talking about Mika Brzezinski and saying that she’s bleeding from a facelift!” he ranted.

His voice beginning to waver, Boykin added, “That’s unacceptable behavior from the president of the United States and I’m quite frankly sick of it!” he cried. “I’m sick of having to go on television every week and talk about this stupidity because people like you Pete continue to defend this. It’s unacceptable, it’s un-American, stand up and have some courage for a change!”

Despite CNN’s June scandal which saw three journalists “resign” their posts at the network due to posting an “improperly vetted” story, CNN opted to tackle the pro-immigration stance by using “Sesame Street’s” Elmo as a tool to appeal to those against immigration laws.

During a Monday segment, “Elmo” was used a propaganda tool to weigh in on President Donald Trump’s travel ban, which was pushed forward full steam ahead due to the 9-0 vote from the Supreme Court.

In a panel discussion featuring Sesame Workshop’s Sherrie Westin, CNN reporter Clarissa Ward, David Miliband from the International Rescue Committee, and of course, Elmo, the quartet discussed the fate of the children of Syria.

CNN reporter Ward asked Elmo, “Did you find that the Syrian little girls and little boys were a lot like your friends here in America?”

“Yeah, they really were,” Elmo sadly responded. “It was very interesting because they like to play and learn just like Elmo and all of his friends at Sesame Street.”

As part of the propaganda sketch, Elmo visited a refugee camp in Jordan.

“Elmo thinks it’s important to know that everybody is the same deep down and that’s very important,” the long-running “Sesame Street” staple noted.

He added, “It was really sad because Elmo’s new friends told Elmo that they had to leave their homes because it wasn’t safe for them to stay, and that made Elmo really sad and sometimes a bit scared.”

Explaining to the viewers that perhaps the United States should take a “child’s perspective” at looking at immigration and the “staggering number of children who are displaced,” Westin noted that “this was an area where we really had to try and do something to help.”

Let me set the scene for you: You’re at an outdoor food court, enjoying your meal when something strange happens.
Three enormous elephants come wandering in out of the woods. Once you get over the shock of these gigantic mammals trying to join you at the table, what do you do? For people dining in India, the answer was to yell. A lot. And it actually worked! The elephants didn’t want any trouble, but they did want to get away from the screaming as fast as possible. The only trouble was, the quickest way out was blocked by a wall….

Simon Smith, a 53-year-old English man, was struck by an out-of-control bus while walking in Reading, England on Saturday and the fracas was all caught on camera.

CCTV footage from the Saturday morning accident shows Smith being struck head-on. In the video, Smith is hit directly and flung nearly twenty feet across the sidewalk.

While most people would lie there and wait for medical assistance, Smith got up, dusted himself off, and walked into a nearby bar, The Purple Turle, according to The Guardian.

The BBC reported that Smith only suffered bruising as a result of the freak accident.

No arrests were made in the incident, and Reading Buses told The Telegraph that the driver of the lorry was “taken off the road” pending an investigation.

Reading Buses expressed their condolences and voiced their displeasure that the footage had been released and shared on the internet.

A spokesperson for Reading Buses, in a statement, said:

“We are obviously shocked by the incident as well as the very graphic footage that has been shared a number of times. Thankfully, the pedestrian does not have any major injuries and there were no major injuries to passengers on the bus. The incident is the subject of an ongoing internal investigation as well as an investigation by the police with whom we are working and sharing footage from our on-board CCTV, so it would be inappropriate for us to comment or speculate on this until it has run its course.

We can assure the public that all our drivers are incredibly professional and trained to the highest standard. Our buses receive regular checks by our award-winning engineering department.

We send our regrets to those affected, especially the pedestrian injured in the street and hope that he is recovering from his injuries.”

Smith’s wife told The Telegraph that her husband is “in a lot of pain.”

“He’s suffering,” she said. “He shouldn’t be here,” she added, and noted that her husband’s “recovery is the main thing.”

CNN host Alisyn Camerota simply refused to stop interrupting Kellyanne Conway after asking Conway the same four questions, even though Conway responded four times.

During a Friday interview, Camerota asked Conway what The White House was planning on doing to thwart further alleged Russian hacks into the United States electoral system.

Conway patiently answered the question in varying ways three times, but Camerota was not satisfied.

“My question for you is ‘What is The White House’ — what is President Trump now doing to prevent Russia from doing this again?” Camerota pressed.

Conway responded, “He has been very clear, on the record, that he believes in any type of numbers of measures to make sure that democracy flourishes, and that voter integrity is intact.”

Conway went on to continue, but Camerota interrupted her once again and said, “Such as? … What is he doing, specifically, to try to stop this?”

“Alisyn, I realize that we just like to say the words ‘Russia, Russia’ to mislead the voters and I know that CNN is aiding and abetting this nonsense as well, but you’ve asked me this same question three times now and I’ve answered it.”

Clearly triggered, Camerota exclaimed halfway through Conway’s remarks, “Kellyanne!”

MSNBC political analyst Elise Jordan said during a Thursday news segment that defending and “cozying” up to President Donald Trump is similar to “hugging a suicide bomber.”

“My advice would just be to Republicans who do cozy up to him — it’s like hugging a suicide bomber,” she told host Craig Melvin. “He blows you up in the process with him.”

Clearly taken aback, Melvin responded and said, “That’s a little strong, Elise.”

Jordan’s unabashed comments came on the heels of Trump firing off several tweets on Thursday, claiming that there were no recorded tapes of conversations between himself and former FBI Director James Comey, a heavily debated topic.

The analyst noted that Trump isn’t to be trusted, and that he’s done nothing but waste the country’s time in a wild goose chase over tapes that purportedly don’t even exist.

During the segment, Melvin seemed to agree with Jordan’s comments about the president’s tapes and their validity.

“It would seem as if the president may have been lying all along about the existence of these tapes,” Melvin said.

After nearly a month of dodging questions whether there may or may not be tapes of discussions with Comey, Trump tweeted that no such tapes existed.

He wrote, “With all of the recently reported electronic surveillance, intercepts, unmasking and illegal leaking of information, I have no idea whether there are ‘tapes’ or recordings of my conversations with James Comey, but I did not make, and do not have, any such recordings.”

But when the Birmingham, England, resident first brought Poppy home with her as a tiny puppy, she didn’t expect to be faced with the difficult decision of either euthanizing her new best friend or taking care of a disabled dog. Fortunately for Poppy, her kind-hearted and caring mom refused to put her down when a spinal condition left her paralyzed from the waist down.

Keith Olbermann torched President Donald Trump’s presidency in yet another video for GQ’s “The Resistance” on Monday night, saying that it was the left’s job to help the president “self-destruct.”

“The President of the United States is self-destructing,” Olbermann began his six-plus minute video. “We need to give him all the help we can in his task.”

“Ordinarily the last thing anyone in America would want is a leader bent on destroying himself and ending his presidency,” he continued. “But the threat to our freedoms, our heritage, our way of life — our lives themselves — is so overwhelming and unprecedented that putting aside the almost immeasurable anger and resentment that this childish, selfish, petulant man engenders.”

Olbermann added, “It is still with genuine sadness that we must look at his self-destruction and say it simply, and resolutely: better him than our country.”

Olbermann went on to indicate that reports of Trump complaining “non-stop” about his administration and the controversy surrounding it are taking its toll on the president.

“The country will have to hope for the best and let him jump,” Olbermann said.

“Resist,” he signed off. “Peace.”

A tourist identified by The Daily Mail livestreamed Sunday night’s mass shooting in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina when a suspect opened fire during a crowded street fight.

At least seven people were injured in the melee.

Bubba Hinson allegedly filmed the incident from his balcony, and in the video, you can hear over a dozen shots fired.

“I thought they were dancing. That’s why I started filming it,” Hinson told The Myrtle Beach Sun News. “Then, they started fighting. Then, they started shooting.”

Myrtle Beach’s Mayor John Rhodes released a statement on Sunday expressing his displeasure that the video had been live streamed, noting that “it does not look good for the city of Myrtle Beach.”

“Social media today puts this word out quickly,” he said.

“We’re gonna send a message to do everything that’s humanly possible to stop this violence in our city,” Rhodes added. “I’m sorry for our city that this happened.”

Myrtle Beach Police Department Lt. Joey Crosby noted on Sunday that a suspect in the shooting had been taken into custody.

“A suspect in this case has been identified and apprehended,” Crosby said.

He added that the name of the suspect “will be released once he has been medically cleared and the warrants can be served.”

The video has since been pulled down from Facebook, but you can see the footage in the YouTube video below.

Fox News anchor Trish Regan excoriated CBS’s Scott Pelley after he suggested that Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) was somehow asking to be shot during last week’s GOP congressional baseball practice.

During the Thursday broadcast of “CBS Evening News,” Pelley said, “It’s time to ask whether the attack on the United States Congress yesterday was foreseeable, predictable, and to some degree self-inflicted. Too many leaders and political commentators who set an example for us to follow have led us into an abyss of violent rhetoric which — it should be no surprise — has led to violence.”

Regan, who was filling in for Neil Cavuto “Your World,” expressed her disgust with Pelley’s comments during the show’s Monday airing.

“‘Self-inflicted?’” she cried. “Come on!” she reacted.

Media analyst Joe Concha and former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino chimed in with their thoughts on Pelley’s snafu.

Concha said, “Scott Pelley, let’s make this clear, is not a reckless pundit. He is the anchor, or was of the CBS Evening News. Walter Cronkite … is turning over in his grave.”

Regan said that Pelley’s comments were premeditated.

“Those words are carefully thought out,” she said. “He knew what he was writing. He wrote that ahead of time, he delivered that message, and he chose to say the word ‘self-inflicted.’”

“Doesn’t that speak volumes to about where some members of the media and the left are right now?” Regan added.

Bongino then claimed that the media is liberally biased.

“Well, the media is the left!” he said. “That’s a horrifying, embarrassing, disgusting statement to make. ‘Self-inflicted’ while Scalise is in the hospital recovering in critical condition? I mean, don’t you have any pride or dignity in your network? Can’t you rise above the moment just while the guy’s in critical condition and wait until he can at least stand on his two feet again?”

“There’s an epidemic of violent talk and violent rhetoric … that’s exclusive owned by the far-left,” he added.

Musician Moby released a video on Monday depicting President Donald Trump as a Hitler-like cartoon character bent on destroying the world as we know it.

The video for Moby’s song, “In This Cold Place,” features throwback cartoon characters of yesteryear like the Care Bears, Super Mario Bros., and Mickey Mouse, and at the end of the video, Trump is blown up by a fury of resistance fighters.

“As time has passed, I’ve wanted more and more for my work to somehow reflect my political concerns and my world views and issues that are important to me,” Moby told The Huffington Post about the song and video.

Of his video animator and illustrator, Steve Cutts, Moby said he pushed many boundaries and crossed hard lines.

“‘Oh, do you think we can get away with this?’” Moby revealed Cutts asked of the musician. “And I was like, ‘Yeah, why not, just make it, go as far you want.’”

Moby added, “The criteria that you would use to determine where you draw the line is simply what’s effective and what’s legal. And I don’t mean ‘legal’ in a cowardly way. I mean legal in a way that would lead something to be taken off the internet. Because you can make the best content in the world but if YouTube and Facebook won’t let people see it, then what’s the point of having this great content?”

Others caricatured in the video include Steve Bannon, Theresa May, Rupert Murdoch and Kim Jong Un.

“In This Cold Place” comes from Moby’s latest album, “More Fast Songs About the Apocalypse,” which was released last week.

The women of ABC’s “The View” went on the offensive during Friday’s airing of the daytime talk show while discussing Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ interruption of Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) during the question and answer portion of Sessions’ committee hearing over purported Russian ties on Tuesday.

After playing back a clip from the week’s Senate Intelligence Committee hearing where Harris attempted to expedite the questioning of Sessions, co-hosts of the show questioned whether or not it was “sexist” that Sessions’ interrupted Harris’s inquiries for the purpose of clarity.

In the video, Harris can be seen telling Sessions, “Sir, sir, I have just a few minutes.”

Sessions, clearly flustered, answered, “Well, will you let me qualify it? If I don’t qualify it, you’ll accuse me of lying. So I need to be correct as best I can. I’m not able to be rushed this fast; it makes me nervous.”

After the video concluded, co-host Joy Behar reported that former Trump aide Jason Miller called Harris “hysterical” after being interrupted by Sessions.

“Would you ever use the word hysterical against a male senator?” Behar asked.

Co-host Sunny Hostin was the first to respond and answered, “They would never do it. And I know Kamala Harris. And what I think is so offensive is that she is the most even-keeled, stately person that you will meet. I mean she is a former prosecutor and she was using that experience to sort of cross examine him. Don’t we want that?”

Conservative co-host Jedediah Bila, however, defended Sessions.

“You want that, but you still have to let him qualify, you still have to let them finish. He wasn’t done speaking,” Bila chimed in. “In this setting and this climate, the more information the better, so I think you can qualify as much information as you need to.”

Co-host Sara Haines correlated the “interesting” use of the word “hysterical” to sexism and claimed that “is it’s a word with a female-baiting history from hystericus, which was once a common medical diagnosis reserved exclusively for women sending them uncontrollably insane, sometimes causing, they would have to perform a hysterectomy.”

Undeterred, Hostin said flatly, “Calling someone hysterical is sexist.”

Bila fired back and noted that all of the women around the table of “The View” interrupt one another constantly.

“Does that make us sexist?” Bila asked.

Hostin refused to answer Bila’s retort and changed the subject. “They don’t do it to men, not on that committee,” Hostin pressed.

“There is real sexism; there is real racism,” Bila said. “There’s all of these -isms. There are real examples of that. But when we rush to say ‘this is sexist’ immediately, all the time, or ‘this is racist,’ I think we demean those actual instances where it happens.”

An openly gay California man identified as Jeff LeTourneau — co-chair of the Orange County Democratic Party — was caught on camera lambasting fellow gay men in a political rant because they were Republican.

While petitioning to remove Sen. Josh Newman (D-CA) over a proposed gas tax bill, Carl DeMaio and his husband, Johnathan Hale, were accosted by LeTourneau outside of a local Wal-Mart and eviscerated for their “disloyalty” to the LGBTQ community as they dared to identify as Republican.

“You belong to a f***ing party that writes our destruction into its platform!” LeTourneau blasted DeMaio and Hale. “Get your s**t and get out of here!”

Of the couple, LeTourneau said, “You are a f**king disgrace to any gay person I know, you piece of s**t.”

DeMaio — a conservative talk radio host, as well as a former Republican San Diego city councilman — and Hale — San Diego Gay and Lesbian News publisher — stood their ground and refused to back down, despite LeTourneau’s increasingly unhinged behavior.

“You can intimidate all you want, sir,” they said repeatedly. “This is the democratic process.”

LeTourneau became increasingly agitated as he turned on Hale — who was filming — as well as those signing the petition, and even on a Wal-Mart manager who came outside to diffuse the situation.

“I’m here as an openly gay person on Pride weekend seeing these two people disgracing my community and letting them know I don’t care about them. They’re liars! They’re liars!” LeTourneau cried. “You do not belong to our community. You also do not belong to the LGBTQ community either.”

In a statement to Fox News, DeMaio said:

“LeTourneau clearly thinks that if you are gay, you can only be a Democrat which is both arrogant and highly offensive. The idea that Californians are sick of paying higher taxes cuts across party lines and sexual orientation.”

Throughout the altercation, Republicans DeMaio and Hale remained calm and asked LeTourneau repeatedly to stay calm and to back away.

A Dilworth, North Carolina woman told FOX 46 Charlotte that she was bullied by Starbucks employees after she wore a t-shirt supporting President Donald Trump into a local store.

“I don’t know what politics has to do with getting a cup of coffee,” the woman, who was identified as Kayla Hart, said.

Hart told the television station that she visited a Starbucks store on Wednesday morning wearing a Trump t-shirt. As a result, she claims she was laughed and shouted at, and received a coffee with a label affixed to it that read “Build the wall.”

“They shouted out ‘Build a wall’ and shoved a drink at me and then all the barisatas in the back started cracking up laughing,” Hart said. “I just walked out because everyone was staring.”

FOX reached out to Starbucks for a comment, and about the alleged incident Starbucks said:

“We failed to meet this customer’s expectations of us, and we have apologized and are working directly with her to make it right. This experience is not consistent with our standards or the welcoming and respectful experience we aim to provide every customer who visit our stores. We have spoken with our store partners about this situation and are using this as a coaching opportunity for the future.”

Hart told the network that she isn’t trying to stir up trouble by bringing the purported situation to light.

“This isn’t me trying to get people to stop going to Starbucks,” she said. “I just want it to be put out there so people know this is what’s occurring. I don’t think it’s right you should be humiliated for wearing a t-shirt with your opinion on it.”

Noah Nathan, a bystander identified by PBS Newshour, caught the Alexandria, Virginia shooting on camera Wednesday, and in the video, over least 70 shots can be heard among the panic.

Nathan, who reportedly lives just a block from the Virginia ball field, was walking his dogs when he encountered the incident.

Nathan was clearly panicked as he filmed the shooting, as the camera was shifted crazily every which way. At one point, it would appear that Nathan hit the ground, as the vantage point appears to be from near ground level.

Around the 2:35 mark, Nathan can be heard yelling, “Hey, is that guy OK up there?”

The video gives a candid look at the scene of the shooting which left four people injured, including Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) and a legislative correspondent from the office of Rep. Roger Williams (R-TX).

Scalise’s office released a statement after he was shot in the hip. The statement claimed that the congressman was in “stable” condition and in “good spirits.”

It was reported that “at least five people,” including Scalise, as well as two Capitol Police officers, were shot during the congressional baseball practice outside Washington, D.C.

Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ.) said the gunman, later identified as James Hodgkinson, was carrying “a large gauge rifle.” During the violent fracas, Capitol Police officers fired back at the shooter with pistols, and Hodgkinson later died as a result of injuries sustained in the shootout.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) told Fox News that if not for Capitol Police, “it would have been a massacre.”

Hodgkinson was reportedly a left-wing climate activist who hated Trump and the GOP.

Shouting and panic can be heard throughout the video as people in the vicinity are told repeatedly to “stay down.” It is unclear whether or not the “stay down” directive was for the safety of those in the area, or if Capitol Police were telling the gunman to stay down.

“That’s one hell of a way to start a f**king morning,” Nathan can be heard saying toward the end of the video.

Warning: the following video contains images that some may find disturbing as well as graphic language.
