If you’ve ever approached a group of geese at the park, you know that they can get really scary really fast.
On more than one occasion as a kid, I’d been chased by an angry, hissing goose that seemed to want nothing more than to tear me apart and drink my blood. I’ve been pretty wary of them ever since and always try to keep my distance, but if this cutie ever came up to me, I wouldn’t mind one bit.A group of joggers from JP Fitness were running at a park in Cornwall, England, when a goose saw them…

With summer in full swing, most pet owners love few things more than hanging with their fur babies in the beautiful weather.
But as it turns out, Fifi and Fido want in on the water sports action, too. Apparently, they can water ski with the best of them. So whether they’re surfing some killer waves or paddle boarding into the sunset, these 20 animals can’t seem to get enough of the water.

When Hannah Wilson realized there was an intruder in her Ireland home, she was probably expecting it to be, well, a person.
But as she walked into the kitchen and noticed something running around and knocking down everything in sight, she probably felt a little relief after seeing that it wasn’t human at all — followed by frustration that the creature was absolutely trashing the room.

None of her cups, dishes, or plants were safe from the critter’s wake of destruction.

Any parent knows that some days the kids are just too much to handle.
Whether they’re crawling all over while you’re trying to relax or won’t listen when you tell them what to do, children will be, well, children. One thing that might make all the stressed moms and dads out there feel a tiny bit better is that this kind of defiance isn’t just confined to humans. Dog moms also have plenty of frustrating and exhausting experiences with their pups, and they can be totally hilarious. Check out these 11 canine moms just doing their best to get through…

For this ginger-colored tabby cat, there’s one thing that really makes him cower in fear.

You would have thought that little Marmalade had just watched a terrifying horror movie given his reaction to what he witnessed. You’ll be giggling when you see what made him totally lose it when Dad started recording!

Something tells me Dad gets a bit too much enjoyment out of scaring his kitty friend.video-player-present

From the second we’re born to our final moments, life is definitely a struggle. Just ask this adorable creature.
The Buin Zoo in Chile recently welcomed a baby pygmy hippo into the world as part of their breeding program. The little guy already has it rough with his species being endangered, but he’s focused on a much smaller and more manageable issue right now — climbing the rocks in his enclosure.

Watch as he attempts to navigate his environment while his mom, Coca, keeps a close eye on him. We’re all rooting for you, buddy!

Back in April, a passerby was horrified when she came across Strushie, a well-known and loved resident cat at the Franklin Hotel in Miami, Florida.
The woman had been feeding him on a daily basis, and on that awful day, she found him with an arrow in his head and neck. The poor thing’s injuries were so serious that when taken to a local vet, he had to be euthanized. The man responsible turned out to be 36-year-old Georgios Lollias, a clerk at the hotel. After retrieving hotel surveillance footage that Lollias had deleted, police arrested and charged him with…

When somebody rescued a stray puppy and her siblings from the streets of Brazil, they probably didn’t expect that she’d pay that kindness forward to another animal in need.
But after the now eight-month-old dog named Lana found her forever home and came across an opportunity to help, she definitely didn’t pass it up — and her new mom couldn’t be more proud of this sweet girl’s generosity.

Suelen Schaumloeffel and her fiancé were the ones to adopt Lana and show her how it felt to be loved and cared for.

We all have an idea of the damage domestic violence can do to victims and their children, but we don’t often hear about how it affects their pets.
Last weekend, somebody walked into a bathroom at the Las Vegas airport in Nevada and saw a tiny puppy sitting inside. The three-month-old miniature Chihuahua had been abandoned there, but as evidenced by the note found with him, his owner didn’t want to leave him behind.

The note reads, “Hi! I’m Chewy! My owner was in an abusive relationship and couldn’t afford me to get on the flight. She didn’t want to…

For most kids, there’s no bigger temptation than jumping and frolicking about in a giant mud puddle.
You can warn them at least a dozen times and they’ll still come inside a muddy mess. And as it turns out, the same can be said about our animal friends. As this baby elephant points out, sometimes kids just have to let loose! We adults should probably learn to do the same. While recent mudslides in China have been devastating, lighthearted footage of an elephant playing in the muck is sure to warm your heart.

There’s almost no story more classic than one about a boy and his dog.
Maverick is a mischievous two-year-old boy with a basset hound best friend named Leroy. They’re almost the same age, and they get into trouble together all the time. Maverick also has a tendency to drop snacks, so Leroy is pretty much always nearby. Now, Leroy doesn’t follow directions very well, but he and Maverick recently united for a common purpose: food. Maverick couldn’t reach the handles on the fridge, so he pulled Leroy’s collar over, and what happened next surprised everyone.

They say that imitation is the greatest form of flattery.
Little kids do it all the time. They see someone doing something and become their greatest copycat, or they’ll hear some words adults don’t want them to and all of a sudden it’s the only thing they’ll say. It can be a real problem when dealing with little ones. One little girl in the U.K., however, is content to mimic her Jack Russell terrier, Frank. He starts howling and I bet you can guess what comes next.

These two “sing” quite the duet! Even the cameraman can’t help but laugh….

All dog parents know how excited pups get when their humans come home after being gone for just a few hours, let alone weeks or months.

I’m a huge dog lover, so whenever I come across one of these cuties, my first instinct is to reach out and pet them in greeting.
While a lot of owners don’t have any issue with strangers touching their dogs, some feel that it’s inappropriate to do so without asking permission first — including Jennifer Lawrence. The actress was recently leaving the LAX airport with her dog, Pippi, when a paparazzo from TMZ approached them.

Lawrence reacted very strongly when the man reached out to Pippi, but was her negative response justified? Watch below and decide for yourself.video-player-present

For those of us who love our pets like family, it’s hard to imagine ever intentionally abandoning them. Unfortunately, it happens all the time.
While the most common strays you’d find wandering the streets are cats and dogs, one person came across a baby pig on a sidewalk. The little guy who’d later be named Gordo was just three months old and all alone, but now he’s never lonely thanks to a kind, caring lady and some precious animal buddies.

Whales are the gentle giants of the ocean, with many species only feeding on microscopic organisms.
Far from a danger to humans, their size can still be intimidating. We probably look like tiny ants to them! Despite being large predators who are able to move at seriously intimidating speeds, cheetahs are actually surprisingly shy.
Unfortunately, endangered cheetahs are so nervous and anxious that captive breeding programs designed to help preserve their species can be unsuccessful if the big cats don’t feel at ease in their environments. That’s where dogs come in. Across the country, zoos including the San Diego Zoo Safari Park and the Columbus Zoo have been pairing cheetahs with their own canine companions to keep them happy and comfortable — and it’s definitely working!

One baby elephant got more than it bargained for after stopping for a drink with its herd.

While trying to take a drink, the five-month-old calf took one wrong step and found itself clinging to life from inside a tank. Villagers were quick to notice the elephant’s trunk frantically reaching out and they jumped in to save the day.

It’s believed that the elephant fell into the tank after hearing a firecracker that was used to scare off other stray elephants from the village.

Coyote Peterson from Brave Wilderness has made a name for himself by constantly getting in harm’s way in interactions with dangerous animals.
It comes as no surprise to those who are familiar with Peterson that in his latest wildlife video, he attempts to handle a venomous creature without being bitten. However, that doesn’t make it any less terrifying to watch, especially for those who have arachnophobia.

In the area surrounding his house, Peterson searched for a black widow and found one underneath a rock. He wanted to test whether she would bite him when held.
